The Teams

I’m Neil Martin, and I’m passionate about building data-driven products, which users LOVE to use.

I’m currently Director of Business Intelligence and AI at XLR8, a global team of experienced delivery leads, former tier-1 consultants and industry experts.

Previously, I spent more than 18 years in the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry working for both Kura CS and Webhelp UK, and then more than 2 years as Head of Data & Analytics at First Bus, part of FirstGroup plc.

These teams I’ve managed over this time have several attributes in common.

First of all, they are made up of talented, dedicated people with skills covering the data analysis, data engineering, data science and data visualisation disciplines.

Secondly, they look beyond the ‘immediate challenge’, creating solutions which can be re-used, scaled and advanced over time.

Finally, they demonstrate enthusiasm every day which makes them a pleasure to work with.

I’ve created this site to showcase my teams and our products, and as a convenient place to post my thoughts and ideas on all things product and data.
